2002 Toyota Tundra 4WD with 177K miles.
I had the tires rotated and they the tire place added a note on my"Shoulder wear on outside edge of front tires, recommend seeing a mechanic."
Does this mean I need an alignment. Tires have about 10K miles on them and I had an alignment a couple of years ago. I have original struts/shocks. Don't tow anything.

Maybe. It means you need an inspection of your suspension and steering components, and possibly the alignment checked as well.

Shoulder (on the outside) wear is an indication of excessive tow in, excessive positive camber or both.
