Choice Between Small SUVs

I am look to buy a small SUV.  Your opinion between a Chevy Captiva(rebranded Saturn) with 80,000 miles for $8,000 or a Honda CRV with 80,000 miles for $6,000.  Both are in relatively good shape.  Which way would you lean?

Thanks

If they're both in good shape, that Honda will way outlast that Chevrolet. Take it to a trustworthy mechanic to have it checked out. Somebody could've removed the Check Engine Light, etc. You can't hide from a computer.

All things being equal - assuming both vehicles have been maintained properly, neither has been in an accident, etc. - I would go with the Honda.  I'm assuming from the asking price this is an older CR-V with an automatic transmission rather than a CVT.   CVT's for me are a deal-breaker.

The CR-V price seems a tad low for the mileage, but it might just be a good deal.  In any case, I agree with the previous poster to have a mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection to make sure.
