Peace ans gm Mr Scotty thank you for the forum to ask questions. I have a 2011 Toyota Avalon that is in good shape and runs excellent, just got over the 200k mile mark. About 2 months ago I had my mechanic change my front and rear struts he said I needed it. I purchased thr " COMPLETE STRUTS" brand off of Amazon Ithaca fits the Avalon. After the struts were changed and I drove off I could feel the improvement in thr ride however I immediately noticed when I ran over a bump I heard squaking and rattling sounds. I never heard that before with the old struts. And it continues to make that sound almost 2 months later. So my question is what do you think may be causing the squeaking and rattling sounds ? Could it be related to the struts from Amazon ? What do you suggest I should do and ask to fix this? Also, do yoi have a post on when you recommend buying a new car vs paying for your car to be fixed? Again thank you for all that you do. Peace be unto to you, Corie

Sounds like a Chinese-made generic brand. No wonder they squeak and rattle. Scotty has warned against using cheaply-made quick struts.
