Hi scotty! And Hi 👋🏽 all

Last year I won 🏆 a competition at
LLF GAMES in the UK 🇬🇧

For a Golf R 2015 mark 7
6 speed DSG auto
60k miles
#has low profile Tires

The thing is I hardly ever drive it now.
Its been driven once a month/here and there and just sat there parked on drive way. Now planning on leaving it for 3 months plus in storage until summer time 😎

Now the battery has gone completely flat would this cause any problems like radio codes etc
Fuel was filled up to max before parking, which type of fuel stabiliser do I need or how as I didn’t use one yet!

It would be better to add a trickle charger to keep the battery charged - they are a lot cheaper than buying new batteries frequently. I would also use fuel stabilizer like Sta-Bil to keep you gas from gumming things up if you have ethanol in your gas like in the US, - there are many alternative brands. You need to drive around after adding it to your tank, so it mixes with you're full tank, and get mixed gas into all the parts of the fuel system (it's better to add it before filling up). I've gotten good results with cars, bikes, boats, etc.

I would change the oil before you leave it. Used motor oil carries acidic residues which are absorbed by the additives in the oil, or left behind. When hydrocarbons are combusted in a nitrogen, oxygen mix, it produces acidic residue in the form of NOx byproducts. Fresh oil just has condensation to deal with, and it will be burned off.
