So I asked this a couple of times already with my struts. I have 2010 CIVIC and I Put new pair of KYB FRONT STRUTS. And I'm STILL having an issue on uneven ride height.
So I went back to mechanic and he said:
Mechanic said to me:
1. there's no way that the struts having a factory defect
2. There's no adjustment on KYB struts so he can't adjust any.
3. He could put a lifter(IDK what the hell is that) on the side that was low
4. Maybe the right- rear struts is higher so the car seems leaning to the front left.

Well, … assuming that each damper mounting base, bump stop, damping mounting bearing, upper spring seat, upper spring mounting cushion, spring, lower spring seat, damper unit, et. al., are assembled correctly all should be OK.
Question is: Is all that stuff assembled correctly? Is each individual part number correct? All that stuff must be checked, … so, whoever assembled each dumper/spring set should check this. There is a specific order for all these parts, … as well correct orientation.
Also, check KYB part numbers: … here we go:
Strut-Plus:
Front left: SR4242, Front right: SR4241
Struts:
Front left: 339256 [ DX model only ]
Front left: 339207 [ All other models ]
Front right: 339255 [ DX model only ]
Front right: 339206 [ All other models ]
Sometimes, … sometimes they may just mixed up parts!
Best,
F.S.
Thank you! Anyway before we changed the struts I have the same issue.
@jasperian22
You mean your car was sitting uneven before? On the old struts? This suggests that the chassis is twisted, bent or otherwise misaligned. Most likely repaired incorrectly. … or bent through misuse, …
Oh, well. Shirt happens to best of us, …
Best,
F.S.
Alright, thank you so much to your response. I gotta ask this, is that the reason why my car is wobbling at high speed like around 70? I mean with the old struts everything is fine even the height was not even.
If I were you, I would take the car to other places to see if they agree with your mechanic or not. Then, you will be able to make a decision.
