hey Scotty I’m from Jamaica I recently bought a use 2013 Subaru Impreza when I got it the mileage was 1.579 what’s the best way to keep this car going
@shawn
Synthetic oil changes every 5000
Tranny flush every 40,000
Watch the tranny and head gaskets.....
Thanks
At that rate, the naturally aspirated motor in the Impreza should last a very long time. But you will need to perform service more based on time rather than mileage. Brake fluid in particular will need to be replaced sooner than for a typical U.S. driver. Also, inspect it frequently for rust and deterioration of any plastic parts.
And finally, make sure that you regularly take it for extended drives; don’t just start it up, drive it hard for a minute or 2 and shut it off. It needs to spend time at operating temperature.
