Hi guys I am thinking to buy a manual Subaru Impreza hatchback 2020. I want this car because I live in Canada this the cheapest awd car option. How much would it cost to maintain? Is it expensive to repair? Will it last 100,000 miles?

I heard Toyota and Honda insurance was through the roof in Canada as well. A manual transmission Subaru should last a long time. Take care of it. The transmission should be bulletproof. The engine could last a while if taken care of. With a CVT, Subarus usually have a max life of 110k miles or so. But with the manual, it could last a LOT more. I would go ahead with it and maintain it.

Should be a fun, reliable car that cab lasts really long timeout you take care of it. Stick to the 4 cylinders. The 6 cylinders have more tendency to blow head gasket.
