Hi Scotty, Thanks in advance for this.
I am looking to buy a used vehicle in Canada and have narrowed my choices to these
: 2018 Outback touring 60k kms
or
2015 Toyota 4 runner 110k kms
I am looking for a long term vehicle with low maintance for the next 10 years.
could you give some advise
Price wise both are same condition same

If the Toyota 4Runner checks out by an honest, independent mechanic I would get that. It will last longer and have better resale value than the Subaru. In addition you will not be held back by the Subaru’s CVT.

I would go with the 4runner, but just have an Independent mechanic check it for you to make sure it doesn't have any problems. it can last a long time if taken care of.
