I see that Toyota makes the typical claim that the transmission in my 2020 Camry doesn't require fluid changes under normal use. However in the maintenance schedule, it does mention if the vehicle is being used for things like taxi or delivery services (ie. lots of stop and go traffic) to replace it every 30,000 miles.
Is every 60,000 sufficient on this vehicle or should I go every 30,000 miles?
(Between my two vehicles, I probably will drive the Camry around 15,000 miles per year and it will be combined highway and city driving. It appears these cars don't have a traditional transmission dipstick that I'm aware of--although they may have a small check hole but I'm not sure where that is on this car. On my other vehicles, with the exception of my 97 Civic, which required changes every 30,000 miles, I always did trans fluid changes every 90k or when the fluid started to change--of course this Camry doesn't have a dipstick so I can't check it periodically, that I'm aware of).
It’s nice to see someone who is inquiring about this very controversial subject matter.
Every 40-50k full exchange will keep your Toyota healthy for many years to come.
