Hi Scotty, I have a 2007 Ford Explorer XLT, 6 cylinder, automatic, 140K miles. Several weeks ago, I noticed the vehicle would make a "clunking" sound and jolt when I put it in reverse just after a cold start up. It didn't do it every time, but I took it to a shop for investigation. They said they didn't see any issues with bushing engine mounts or struts. A couple weeks later, and now the clunking and jolting happens multiple times when going forward, into gear and traveling slow in a parking lot. It doesn't do this if idling or coasting. It also feels like its lost some power, having a harder time getting past 60 or 60mph unless I really hit the gas . I have been good about changing oil, but transmission fluid I have not personally changed since I obtained the vehicle about 50K miles ago. Engine dashboard lights are a "wrench" icon, and a couple EVAP codes (P0455 and P1450). Any ideas?

there are a lot of possible causes this to happen. You can plug the codes into the site obd-codes.com for some troubleshooting steps. It's pretty unlikely that all the solenoids fail at once though, so the problems is more generalized. Check fuses, TCM connectors and wiring etc.
Well all day. Just catching up to that thing. The weakest things on those are their automatic transmission and it sure seems like yours is starting to go out. Me. I'd baby the thing and I'd probably remove 1 quart of fluid and put in a quart of Lucas automatic transmission additive and pray it helps make it last as long as possible.
@scottykilmer Thank you, Scotty. I did manage to get some more codes off the vehicle, most of them read out as A, B, and C shift and pressure control solenoids. So what does that mean?
