Mainly looking for a Honda or Toyota. I want good mileage, with power when I need it and it needs to be roomy and reliable. I’ve got my eyes on the Honda HRV but is the CRV better? Also, the Toyota CHR is on my list. Am I missing anything that might be worth it for the money? 25k budget.
The HR-V is a good choice. The CR-V has the 1.5 turbocharged engine which has oil dilution issues, which the HR-V does not have. The CH-R is reliable enough but it isn't a very practical car and keep in mind it was originally designed for the youth market of Scion. If you do want to check out a CR-V, I would check out the 2018-2019 base model (which had the 2.4 engine NOT the 1.5 engine) and hey check out the HR-V and CH-R for yourself and compare them to see which one fits you best.
