Hi Scotty,
you helped me alot before, so i hope, you will make this again..
When start up when cold engine, all are ok. Engine rew up to 1500-2000rpm, then drop to 750-800 when hot.
After that i stop engine. Start again when still hot, but start with very low rpm like 400-600rpm(almost stop and shaking) and then fix itself to 750-800rpm. Sometime start just fine, sometime not.
Other idle problem is when start engine when is cold and start moving the car, before warm up. So when still on road and moving with normal speed, the engine rpm still have 1500-2000rpm even if reach temperature.
Only when i stop the car, idle speed is get fixed itself to 750-800rpm.
I try everyting. I clean trottle body, change spark plugs, change idle control valve, change fuel filter, clean spark plug connectors/coils.
I think, the problem start, when i try to spray with carburator cleaning spray, deep in trottle body. Then this problems with idle speed have increased. Before was less.
I will make a video if that all is not clear enough.
Scotty, you are mechanic Number 1 for me!
@deathxxx123
if you sprayed the carbuators cleaner inside throttle body, this is very bad and dangerous for your vehicle. if you put alot, i think youre car is running in a poor air/fuel mixture. the shaking is due because you might have clogged fuel injectors, clogged oxygen sensors, too much oil in your engine. i would change the oil immediately with ONLY OEM WITH EXACT QUANTITY, go to your car dealer. let it drain overnight and next day, fill it up with new engine oil. try to clean your EGR as soon as you can. you must clean your MASS airflow sensor with the correct cleaner spray. youre RMP is stuck at 1,500-2,000 rpm because you have incorrect fuel/air mixture. so its important to also replace your cabin air filter. all of this can be done for really cheap money the right way, watch scotty video to see real cleaning in action if you have more questions. GO to walmart grab yourself a cheap obd2 scanner for 20$, you must keep checking for CODES, if youre car ever stalls or whenever your problem shows up, please connect your scanner and scan it.. if you still dont get codes, feel free to come back with more symptoms and give us a good feeling on how your car is performing
It's not from now. I have changed oils 2 or 3 times already with this problem. And i'm not sprayed alot cleaner. Just like 5-6 seconds.
Not every time car is shaking. Sometimes are ok, sometimes not...
Take throttle body off, clean again. Inspect intake runners while TB off for carbon in them. Also check throttle position sensor. Could be a pesky vacuum leak too.
@hillbilly
How to re-calibrate the idle speed for Suzuki? I think that might the problem. Because when idle speed are around 800rpm and car is stopped, i turn off the headlights and idle speed immediately drop to like 400rpm, then go back normal after 2 seconds. I see there is a way to re-calibrate Toyota's and some other brands, but no one show how to do that on Suzuki.
The TB is very clean also.
Ok, broke out the service manual on this one...
There is no calibrate for your IAC (ISC).
Do you have service manual? Do you know how to adjust TPS? Theres a ground switch that should be engaging at idle built in the tps and if this is misadjusted, the ground may not be applied quickly and thus ecm doesn't control IAC correctly.
Other thoughts, bad/sticky iac (new doesn't necessarily mean anything).
And ecm (which I doubt but if the ecm is getting a wonky signal (slow response) from another sensor on the car that it uses to determine IAC coil current (idle speed). Let me know and if needed I can figure a way to get you the service manual. And thanks for your patience/persistence, as you may guess troubleshooting the plethora of vehicles via the web is challenging at best!
Thanks for the answer. I also try clean and change the IAC from another vencile. Almost noting changes. Also i try replace the generator, same thing. Now i remove and clean EGR valve. I do not test it fully after that. Now i will replace the coils, wires and spark plugs with all new(NGK, Bosch). One boot from the coil was little streched, also springs inside was little rusted into all boots. Maybe that is problem too, but will see after i replace all parts. Tomorow.
I replace the coils with new NGK x2. I used old cables, because NGK cables does not fit to the valve cover.
I'm not sure if that fix the problem with micro-stuttering the idle RPM when i stopped. But problem that idle RPM does not correct itself while im moving is still there. Need to stop the car, to get idle RPM fixed. Sometimes i got too low RPM until i stop the car. Sometimes i got too high RPM until i stop the car. When stop, RPM is fixed itself, but not while i'm moving. Why is that, i really don't know...
Maybe there are some sensor, who tell the car, i'm still moving and does not fixes idle RPM while moving.
Finnaly! I got the problem.
It was from oily MAP sensor 18590-72f21 (for refference).
I clean it with Isopropil alcohol, and now no more randomly LOW RPM on start engine.
I greatly hope this will help some one else too!
