Are Toyota Tacomas a risky buy considering the frame rust issues on 1995–2010 model years?

Before you buy it, check the frame for rust, if it has no rust, good. If you are unsure or there is rust, do not get it.

yeah you have to check the frame for rust intrusion...I have a 1996 Tacoma 4x4 extra cab with no rust at all but mines from Socal CA and now in UT.
