I've noticed something over the years that I'd like to run by this community. When I drive at night, I notice an increasing number of cars with working headlights, but broken (or dark / turned off ?!) tail lights. Is that more common in modern cars? Something wrong with LED lights for example? I don't remember encountering this in my youth, but nowadays I see it often enough to become noteworthy to me. Cars with functioning headlights and dark tail lights. Is anybody else observing this?
LEDs do fail and when they do it costs a lot more to fix than changing a burned-out light bulb so it would not surprise me if some people don't bother.
BMWs don't seem to have turn signals.
It could also be some people that have day running lights forget to turn.the headlights on at night.
good point
I haven't noticed. The biggest problem I notice is people driving without headlights
