TCC shutter after transmission flush

Hey Scotty! I have a 2011 Subaru Tribeca with 100k miles, automatic transmission,  not a CVT. A few months ago, I went to a transmission shop to request a fluid change. But what they did was a transmission flush. If I get the transmission dipstick, the fluid is pink and smells like brand new fluid, so they really did the job.

Now I'm experiencing a shutter from 4th to 5th gear, between 45 and 60 mph on 2000 rpm. When the transmission engages to the 5th gear, the rpm drops to 1500 rpm and the shudder happens. If I floor the gas pedal, no shudder at all. I've used the Instant Shutter Fixx from Doctor Tranny and the shudder went out for a month, now it's back.

Is there a permanent solution for this TCC Shudder? Thanks.

If you have a proof that the shop did the flushing against your request, have them fix the transmission. The only permanent repair is to rebuild the transmission.

I have the bill that proofs they did the transmission flush, however, I don't have a record of my request. To be honest, by then, I wasn't aware of the difference between transmission service and transmission flush. What I have requested was a transmission fluid change, they choose the method 🙁
