I’ve got a 1995 Chevy 2500 with 288k miles.the water pump was leaking at the weep hole so I replaced it with an oem delco water pump.the engine temp started to flux.ive bled the air out of the system by squeezing the upper radiator hose.replaced the thermostat and checked for combustion gasses.no water in the oil.any ideas?thanks {black}:idontknow:

The temperate sending unit might be faulty.

Temperature sending units get corroded and send false or fluctuating info to the gauge. Good call for Yaser.
Get a new sending unit and check wiring and grounds. You may have also gotten a bad thermostat, even though it's new.
