What do you think about this? I personally think its ugly and the previous generation looked better.
Presenting: The all new Honda Clari- I mean Civic
Looks like they went backwards in styling. Looks generic like other small sedans. At least the 10th gen had an edgy appearance, this looks like a grandma/pa car.
I like it - looks more mature. Last gen was good too, but this speaks to me a little more.
i would drive it , will never buy that 1.5 though, should put in two and make it 3.0 lol

At quick glance, I thought it was a dodge, but then noticed the Honda emblem.
I feel like the 2022 Honda Civic shows a little bit more personality than the older generation. The older generation is the second redesign of all Civics lol.
I mean the second best redesign of all Civics.
IMHO the Civic golden age was the 2006-2011 generation. After that they became cheaper and more comfort orineted, not the zippy small car we know;(
The last gen was modern and premium, this one looks 'clean' but also boring and in my eyes ugly.
@Kerem Yeah that is true. IMHO, I love Honda's sportiness more than Toyota's reliability.
I think they want to show a big car compared to previous generation. The trend of making bigger and bigger and bigger cars ruins the philosophy of small cars and unfortunately, Japanese manufacturers are no exception.
The 2022 civic looks boring with no personallity. I have a 2019 civic and I love the look of the 10th Gen.
First Honda ruined the Accord, and now they ruin the Civic. When looking at the rear, I can hear “Hey Honda ! Volkswagen called. They want their Jetta back !” ringing in my head. The front looks like the Accord but without the chrome.
Keep in mind this is the TOURING trim. If this was the base but they at least added some interesting sport ques here and there alright then but this is the top of the line. It looks clean, but relatively boring, and the headlights are ugly IMO.
As for the rear, it looks like a Jetta at first glance. As I continue looking at it, it starts to look at every other compact car out there. I personally think styling peaked around 2015 2016, after that they just starting becoming more reptile-like and mixing boring and ugly, but that's just my taste.

loL so true. Always those who buy new designs. I loved seeing VW Atlases doing this exact thing a couple yeasr back, there was a ton on the highway going slow in the middle lane for family trips I presume, I haven't see any since then. Maybe all the engines blew up?
