In the Civic or CR-V? Either way, this Honda Diesel engine is fairly new & the long term reliability is still relatively unknown.

If you’re in Sweden, is the government against diesels? I read that they may stop the sale of diesel passenger vehicles soon. However, do you have a choice of any VW/Skoda diesels in the Jetta/Octavia?
Im living in Denmark, nah they havent banned diesel yet, although they almost only want ''euro 6'' cars if its diesel.

Hmm, I’d go with the Octavia with a manual transmission (avoid the DSG). If you don’t like the Octavia, then go ahead with the Civic diesel. Don’t forget to have the car inspected thoroughly by a professional mechanic, before purchase. All the best!
