My neighbor recently got a 2022 Chevy Corvette. He is using it as a weekend toy and won't be driving like a maniac. He said that he didn't get affected by the chip shortage, paid over 100k for it and has no issues with it so far.
I asked him about the transmission issue because I heard the new 8 dual-clutch transmission had some leaks especially with the pan. He told me that his vehicle got fixed because 2020 models had the issue while the 2021 and upcoming 2022 models didn't. Is the new transmission fixed now or is he going to have problems in the future?
