So I'm looking for my first car and because of the chip shortage and the price increases, the cars I would've bought last year are now out of my budget. So I have to make some compromises. Now, I'm thinking of getting a 2012-2014 civic with low mileage and a backup camera. The thought process is that I get a reliable, relatively cheaper car, then I could add an aftermarket stereo with some of the cooler features like Android Auto, maps, and stuff like that. I'm just looking for suggestions and help that anyone is willing to give. Thank you.

I would select the 2014 model year over the 2012 and 2013 since that year has less issues. I think make a smart move by going for aftermarket radio.
