[Solved] Thoughts on a 2015 Sentra, manual transmission

I’m considering purchasing a 2015 Sentra, manual transmission with 99,000 miles on it for about $7000 and was wondering if it would be a good purchase, if I had it checked out by a local mechanic and everything looked good.

I drive about 12k miles a year in city traffic (including highway), non-aggressively. I currently have a 2010 Sentra (CVT) (Probably pass along to son) with 150k miles on it that is still running strong with no major issues so I’m optimistic about the 2015 Sentra, but just wanted to hear from other’s experience.

I’ve heard that the MRA8DE is a good engine and it’s not a CVT. I would like to get at least 5 more years out of it without major problems. Is that realistic?

 Thanks in advance.

Well with the standard transmission it's certainly a better car but it's still a Nissan made after or no took over the company and the quality isn't that great. Plus I'd never pay that kind of money for a one that had almost a hundred thousand miles on it
