Hey Scotty,

I love the channel, just had a question about your thoughts on leasing a Camaro, Challenger or a Mustang. I want to get a Camaro SS in a few months and was wondering your thoughts on these cars.

Thank you!

These new muscle cars all have issues as they rack on miles and age, and best to own while still under warranty.  Having said that, if you have to have one, I would just lease and get out of your system.  Now the question becomes what do you hope to get out of the vehicle?  The Camaro SS has the best chassis and will handle, brake the best especially at the track, but visibility is poor.  The Challenger rides the best and is spacious but handles the poorest.  The Mustang is somewhere in between.

Payments are usually slightly less on a lease and if you don’t plan to keep it it’s not a bad route to go. Also you’ll give the car back before it comes out of warranty. Only issue a lot of people have that they don’t know going in is if you decide to keep the car at the end of your lease you’ll either have to put a bunch of money down when you buy it otherwise your monthly payment will jump substantially

I never lease cars because I can never resist the temptation of tweaking them. Can't modify a lease so I always pass.

Mustang > Camero > Challenger.

Unless the Challenger has next to nothing to do with Fiat, then:

Mustang > Challenger > Camero.

Its a lease he should not be putting more than around 36k miles on it anyways I think any of them should be fine for that period. But for buying yes I agree.
