Throttle Problem.

Hi Scotty, I have a Citroen Berlingo II Multispace 1.6 HDi 90 2010 model with a 5 speed manual Transmission on 73k miles, that I inherited from my father after he passed away in late January 2022, I have just replaced the rear Brake Discs (Rotors) & Pads, the Horn (Never Again lol) & I'm going to rectify the engine oil leak I found & change the oil.

I have noticed when in 5th gear & only 5th gear, when I take my foot off the gas, instead of slowing down it sometimes speeds up on it's own, it will travel for about 20 to 50 yards then starts to slow down, obviousy I have my foot on the brake at this point.  The obvious conclusion is a problem with the elctronic throttle but I'm not so sure so I haven't done anything with it yet as I wanted to hear your opinion first.

I have been watching your videos for a good 2 or 3 years now & even at 61 years I have learned quite a lot from you, so Thankyou you are much appreciated here in good old Blighty !!!

As everyone knows you are so enthusiastic about an AC that blows cold, I have included a couple of links below of the nonsense info we get on online news over here which in this case is about using the AC system, I hope you find what you read amusing as I did.

Hey, it's a french car. You can expect anything from them. But you obviously have a problem with the electronic fuel injection system so they have a guy check it out in those those things. They haven't sold those in the states and decades so I have no experience with those
