I just bought the Michelin cross climate 2's for my car and SUV, they have a max pressure of 50, but when they installed them they aired them up to 42-43 psi, but in my door panel it says 33 psi, I tried 33 psi but it feels "mushy" when I drive....not sure.

You're supposed to use the tire sizes and air pressures recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. The maximum pressure on the tire is the maximum pressure that should be used in the tire, regardless of vehicle.

it's an SUV not a sports car. Leave it on 33. 42 is going to wear out the center of the tire.
Thank you for your help!!
