Mainly during cooler weather my 2009 F-150 with 92K miles consistently shows a tire pressure sensor fault. I have checked and set the tire pressures to specs. Do I need special tools to fix this? I am guessing it is the sensor inside one tire, but I don't know which one. It is an annoying problem that keeps a light on my dash all the time! Thanks!! JBPopper

Probably a dead sensor battery. You might as well replace all four cause the others can't be far behind. I'd just deal with it until your next tire change and have them replaced especially if your tires are showing pressure is fine.
I really don't like these tire pressure sensors because they go out fairly often. In my opinion if it says one sensor is bad then I would change all of them as i'm sure if you haven't changed them before then the others are probably nearing the end of their life as well.
