Can I install different tire brands

Hi, I have a rwd lexus gs 350 2016, it rides on 235 45r18 98y tires, I found a great deal on some mechiline tires same spec, but they've got just two, which I plan on putting in the rear. My question was does it hurt anything using two different tire brands? (For now I will have a Bridgestone 98y in the front and mechiline crossclimate2 98y in the rear)

And my second question is given the 98y tires are so hard to find for the mechiline crossclimate2, if I end up putting a 98V in the front later on(which is what I easily find) and the 98Y in the rear are there any negative consequences to this?

Thank you for your insights

Well, if it's an all-wheel drive vehicle, you should really use all four exactly the same tires. If it's just two-wheel it doesn't really matter, but the all-wheel drive systems are set up on the predication. All tires are exactly the same

Okay scotty thank you.
Yeah it's RWD.
