Dear Scotty Kilmer,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today as a fan of your automotive YouTube channel and as someone who has a question about towing with my 2019 all-wheel-drive Prius.
I currently tow two of my jet skis with my Prius and I am considering upgrading to a larger trailer to tow even more. However, before I do so, I wanted to ask what the total capacity of my Prius is for towing. Can it handle a larger load without any issues?
Additionally, I would like to know what the potential problems are with using my Prius to tow. Are there any mechanical issues that I should be aware of? Are there any modifications that I need to make to ensure that my Prius is safe and reliable when towing?
I appreciate your expertise and knowledge in this area and any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Toby TigerHeart Grear

1600 lbs. You could tow a small camper.
I would not use that car for towing more than what you've already towed it with. You would be putting more strain the engine and transmission. If you need more towing compacity, get a 1/2 ton pickup truck.
