Anyone know which auto trans is smoother? The Honda 10 speed auto or Toyota 8 speed auto?

Once you get to the higher gear transmissions it becomes very difficult to tell, certainly to the average driver. Between the two, I’d go with the 8 speed for longevity. 8-9-10 gears, at some point you just reach the law of diminishing returns while adding more complexity.

My 10-speed is super smooth honestly. The 8-speed in the Toyota is excellent as well.
I'm not sure there is a big enough difference to say one is better than the other.
