Toyota 86 Video?

Hi, Scotty.  I read somewhere you might be interested in doing a video on a Toyota 86 if someone wanted to bring one to you.  Well, I have a 2018 86 GT and I live just a little over an hour from where I think you are.  It's an automatic trans, about 42,000 miles on it, runs great, looks new.

I also have a 2003 Tundra 4.7L limited with about 240,000 miles on it.  Check engine lights has been on for about fourteen years... last time I had it checked someone said the gas cap filler tube isn't sealing.  Runs great so I don't worry about it.  Probably about to replace some leaky valve cover gaskets in the near future but it's not too urgent.

I'd be happy to bring the 86 to you if you want to spend a few minutes ranting about Toyota not using their own engines in their sports cars.  It would be pretty cool to tell people my car was in one of Scotty's videos!

Update:  Just got back from Scotty's place today (June 8) around noon.  Being a broadcast engineer and working with a bunch of video producers at a nearby university, it was fun watching him work.  Just like how we do it.  Shoot a bunch of clips, throw them in your timeline, and start editing (thank goodness for non-linear editors... old-timers will relate to that).  I meant to ask him what software he uses to edit his videos but forgot.

I was a bit nervous but Scotty is just like he seems on his videos; approachable, nice guy, talks... and knows what he's talking about, and friendly.  I can't wait to see the finished product.

Thank you so much. I wrote him and got a reply. When he gets back from RI in June, he told me to contact him and he'll do one. I almost squealed like a 16 year old girl at a Justin Timberlake concert...

Lucky you, make sure to put "appointment in TN" in subject line when you contact him later on
