Hey there! last weekend I was driving my car, then stopped at a red light and suddenly CEL, stability control light both popped up. Then car entered in Limp Mode, not been able to rev more than 5k. It happened out of nowhere.
My car is a 2015 MT Scion FR-S, has 17k miles. I´m the second owner (last owner changed air intake and also made it straight pipe)
Usually I fill the tank with 91 octane.
I don't rev it much 'cause the streets where I live are kinda small, also haven't raced it nor take it to the track.
Haven't cheked with an OBD2 yet.
Any diagnose ideas? do you think it means a serious damage or failure?
sorry for not knowing much else, last car i had was a late 80's corolla. Times were so much simple back then.
also, forgot to mention, no weird sounds were found, liquids are in a good level (haven't checked diff fluid)

Check with an OBD2 and a full systems scanner - better than guessing or throwing random ideas into the air.
