Toyota Avalon engine water leakage

Hi Scotty,

I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon, I noticed the temperature was going high, after checking found the engine water level is down. I took it to my mechanic, he changed the cap and the top hose, but still the water level goes down. It not huge leaking, every two weeks I have to add around 1.5 liter of water.

The mechanic couldn't identify the leaking source.

One time I was parking my car, after moving it I found a water under the engine on the lift side when you standing facing the engine outside the car.

Any idea Scotty about the leaking source.

Thanks in advance

You need to find a better mechanic, there are methods for finding the source of an external coolant leak.
