Long time listener, first time caller. I want to thank you for all the good work you do. I would like to ask you a question. I have a 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE, ECVT. I accidentally shift gears to parking while still driving the vehicle at really low speed. I will guess less than 2 mph. I heard a nasty sound. It drives like nothing happened. A week later the motor engine sounds kind of louder than before, when the car is not moving (parked) and the electric motor switches to the gas motor. I don't know if I should be worried? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Bring your car to the dealership to have them looked at it. Your drive train is still under warranty. Just don't tell them you put it in park while driving because I don't know whether it'd void the warranty.
