I have a 2002 Toyota Camry with 170,000. My check engine light is on and when a scanned it with your recommend scan tools. The code read P0440 Evaporative Emission System. Does this need to be fix

It would certainly need to be fixed if causes you to fail an emissions test. Other than that you could live with it. The problem could be something as simple as a bad gas cap, but pretty much anything goes when you're talking about a decades-old vehicle.
