Dear Scotty, am about to buy a new car, trust your advice, which of the two cars is better to buy? to my understanding the corolla has two electric motors, does that necessarly make it better than the one electric motor in the ionic? Thank you
The Ioniqs are great for staying warm in the winter time.

If you plan on buying a brand new hybrid vehicle, stick with the Toyota. Their hybrid technology has been around for a while and the most proven. As for Hyundai Motor Group products, stay away from them due to quality issues and not standing by their products.

If you plan to keep the vehicle past 150,000-200,000 miles then just get a regular gas Toyota Corolla.
Toyota Corolla hands down. Any Hyundai/Kia product does not inspire any confidence, IMHO.
Hyundai Ionic hybrid
Sometimes processes can get too ionic in Hyundai

Without a doubt go with the brand new Toyota whether you're buying hybrid or not. Hyundai is the exact opposite of quality.
No comparison, buy the Corolla Hybrid.
