Toyota Flow Sensor Error B1479

Scotty I have a 2011 Corolla with the AC compresor clutch intermittently turning off and on. AC is cold when operating normally but will intermittently cut off. When it shuts off the condensor fan also turns off. I ran a scan on the AC and found flow sensor error B1479. The sensor is not sold by Toyota and was told that the whole compressor has to be replaced. I found an after market sensor online and replaced it. and the AC ran fine. I erased the B1479 code ibut after a few days the same error code appears. Is there anything else I should check or do I have to replace the compressor. The AC system pressures are ok when the compressor turns on. What do you think?

Well often aftermarket parts do not work. It's probably the whole compressor that needs replacing. But you might also want to test the wiring going to the compressor and the AC relay that turns the compressor on as those can have problems and cause that too
