I got a Toyota Highlander 2016 4 cylinder with 123k miles. Two oil changes ago I had changed the oil at Firestone. The next day my wife turned on the car and the oil pressure light came on. My wife pulled the car out the drive way and the car started making a beep sound right away so she pulled back into the drive way. She only drove it a half a block or less. She called me and told me there was a bunch of oil on the driveway. I called Firestone and they sent a guy to me house to look at the problem. He added more oil and changed the oil plug. A couple of months later the oil pressure light would turn on and off when turning. I took the car to a different shop. They said there was barely any oil. They did an oil change but couldn’t find the leak. They told me to check the oil level later. Yesterday I checked the oil level and it was at the tip of the dipstick. I added 1 and 1/2 quarts and took it to another mechanic who was the brother of a friend of ours. We looked everywhere and couldn’t find the leak. When we checked the oil dipstick he said it still needed another 1/2 of quart. He believed the engine may be burning the oil but couldn’t find much evidence of it. He told me to check the levels in a few days. What should I do?
