HI,
MY NAME IS ROLAND, I NEED YOUR RECOMMENDATION ON OUR PLAN TO OPEN AN ELECTRIC SCOOTER RENTING/LEASING STORE.

WE WANT TO START SMALL WITH THE CAPACITY TO SERVICE 2 SCOOTERS/MOPED AT THE SAME TIME AND WANT TO GROW IT IN 2 YEARS TO 4 STATIONS.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NEEDED SPACE FOR THE MAINTANANCE OF TWO SCOOTERS?

WHAT IS NEEDED WHEN WE ARE DEALING WITH ELECTRIC SCOOTERS WHEN IT COMES TO TOOLS, SAFETY PRODUCTS FOR THE EMPLOYEES ETC?

I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND INFORMATION.

BEST REGARDS,
ROLAND

@roland - Well, as it happens we had a user banned yesterday by the site administrator for continuing to do that after being warned.

okay.
Well, that wasn't even done on purpose. As you can see every single letter was with caps lock.

I came here for support so it make no sense for me or for someone to assume that I was screaming. But thanks for replying and informing, ill keep be vigilant for that caps lock.

Welcome new member.  For something like this, it's not about the size of the space, it's about the location.  Or to be specific, "location, location, location." Once you determine the best place to be, you can lease the least expensive retail/industrial suite in that area.

As far as tools, equipment, and PPE, I think that is not a question to ask, it's an answer to know.  Being the proprietor of a commercial business is completely different from DIY-ing on your own personal vehicles at home.  To run a business like this, you need actual training, preferably from apprenticing for a few years in an existing shop, or possibly from going through a professional training program.  Especially given that electric vehicles carry serious risk for life-threatening injury if you don't know what you're doing.

When you have learned how to do the work properly, you'll know the tools you need.

Cheers!

Thanks for the input.
I totally understand what you're saying.

The guys who will do the work will go through a training from the factory however i want to prepare myself to not have only what the factory will suggest, but more practical equipment's of those in the field.

I am focused on getting what's best for those that will do the job and want to be prepared for that and know the costs before launching the business.
