1998 Toyota Rav 4 manual
150000 miles.
When i go up a hill the car starts to misfire and slow down.
I had the fuel filter, air filter and spark plugs changed. It didnt help.
The mechanic is 'guessing' i need a new oxygen sensor or fuel sensor.
We live in Costa Rica...All 'mechanics' are unlicenced and just claim to know something about cars...Really i wouldn't trust one to paint my wheelbarrow.

Do you have access to a scan tool that can read codes and live data? A back pressure gauge to check for a clogged catalytic converter?
