Toyota Sequoia intermittent misfire

Hey Scotty,

I have a 2014 Toyota Sequoia that I recently purchased, with 162k miles that has a recurring intermittent misfire on cylinder 4. I’ve changed all spark plugs and ignition coils on all 8 cylinders. Cylinder 4 continues to misfire and throw code and engine light randomly. I recently moved the ignition coil from cylinder 4 to cylinder 1 and still had misfire on 4. It will run fine for a few days, then randomly misfire. Sometimes it will correct itself but recently I purchased a code reader and have been resetting the code if it doesn’t reset on its own.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I’m regretting my purchase. Jody Duncan

You could try swapping the #4 fuel injector with another cylinder and see if the problem travels with it.
