I have a 1992 Toyota Pick-Up 6 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission and sometimes when i am driving slowly in 1st gear it will randomly pop out and go into neutral. What could be causing this and should I be worried?

Your detent in the 1st gear shifter is worn out or the spring is broken for the detent is broken.
