Hi everyone. I have a Toyota 2006 AWD XLE. It's been good all these years, bought it used in 2005. Of late I notice it's been pushing out the coolant from the cap of the over flow tank.
I have to add water every morning, though the main radiator itself still has coolant, but the overflow tank is empty. I have changed the radiator cover over and over. The thermostat is working perfectly.
Any help will be appreciated. {black}:face:
I find what you are saying a little confusing. Your overflow tank should not be empty, unless it has a crack or leak. Normally, your radiator cap will push some antifreeze out into the overflow tank when the engine heats up, and then pull (siphon) that fluid from the overflow tank back into the radiator when the engine cools.
IF your Sienna is, in fact, "pushing out coolant from the cap of the overflow tank", that is a problem - the fluid pushed out of the radiator should be going into your overflow tank, and the hose/connector/cap into and/or on the overflow tank is the problem.
