I'm in the market for a newer tacoma crew cab (2017 at the oldest) with preferably less than 30-40 thousand miles. My budget around 29k, preferably lower. Is there a specific year/trim you recommend for reliability.

The base trim 2023 Tacoma double cab is around $30k msrp. Yes it's a bit more than your budget, but you can get a brand new one. In this market used cars are more expensive than they should be.

No they're all solid made. Everybody wants an awful lot of money for them. So you're going to pay high dollar but start looking. You never know what you're going to find
