I recently posted a topic concerning my Toyota Yaris mk1 d4d it has a fault code P1229. I have had good feedback concerning this issue, but my question is: I recently removed and tested my Fuel Pressure Regulator valve by using a multimeter and a 12v battery to open and shut the valve electronically and it clicked okay but was producing 0 0hms on the multimeter.
Question What does this mean exactly?
Is it still worth buying a new one?

If it is zero ohms resistance it's shorted out and needs replacing if you tested it correctly
