Egr vacuum solenoid and P0300 code

I've recently gotten a p0300, p0303, and  p0304 in my 02 camry LE 4 cylinder automatic. I've also noticed that the top stem of the vacuum solenoid attached to my air filter box has broken off. I don't know exactly what that solenoid does. My question is, could that be related to the misfire codes listed? Plugs are fine, ignition coils are seemingly fine (I did the switch test and nothing changed) cleared the codes and it all came right back.

Edit: I guess it's called the secondary air injection solenoid.

Clarification: What is the mileage?

149,800. Hasn't had a misfire issue. and I know the previous owner (only other owner). This thing was his baby. Regular maintenance, garage kept, almost perfect condition. That's why I'm figuring it's the solenoid. It's the only thing to break recently.

Of course.

Vacuum affects fuel mixture. Bad mixture can cause misfire.

Ok. I kinda thought so. But I'm also kinda of a car-hypochondriac. And didn't know what that solenoid did. So thank you. I was planning to replace it anyways because it was broken. But I'll wait to dig into anything else until then.
