Should I trade in my 2012 Chevy Cruze for a Toyota?

Hey Scotty,

I have been wanting a Toyota ever since you have shown me the way. My wife suggested that I try to trade in my 2012 Chevy Cruze, 1.4l Turbo with 101k miles on it. Should I just hang onto it until it goes because I am the original owner, and also I probably will no get squat for it? Also, I’m sure any used Toyota around 100k miles would be way out of the price range I would get for my Chevy. What are your thoughts?

Thanks

What model are you looking for?

Eh, any I guess. I’m looking for more quality and reliability. Chevy doesn’t have that.

Well in this crazy market you might get a decent price for it. You have nothing to loose by checking.

I'd see what you can sell your car for. You may be surprised.

Get quotes from places like Carmax, Carvana, Vroom etc. to see what your car is worth. While a Toyota would have a higher value than a Chevy, but still in this market people are getting a lot more for their trade in compared to before.
