When should you consider using marvel mystery oil and what exactly is it used for?

It's a light oil product that dates to the 1920s. It might help free up sticky valves if you're driving something like a Model T or Model A Ford. These days about the only thing I use Marvel Mystery Oil for is to free up engines that have been sitting for years by putting some down the cylinders and letting them soak for a while.
