Hi Scotty,
What is the best way to get trained to be as competent as you? I would like to transition into auto repair and sales so I can give people a fair shake.

Best way is to work on your cars by following Scotty’s videos. I bought a book years ago called “Auto Fundamentals” by Stockel and Johanson (now in their 12th Edition) from Amazon to learn the basics of how cars work, but that is theory. Between that, Scotty’s videos, a good scan tool (Autel MS906BT or Mx808), and just working on your own cars (including friends and co-workers’) you accumulate knowledge and experience very fast.
