Hi Scotty ,I have a 1997 GMC Yukon 5.7 liter with 237000 miles on it. The old owner said that he changed the filter and replaced what fluid was needed on the transmission 75000 miles ago I checked it and it's a nice pink color and not low I have not had any problems with the transmission. Would you recommend me getting the filter changed again as well as the fluid that is lost

If fluid and filter have not been changed in 75K miles now would probably be a good time. See the FAQ for details.
