I have a 2017 Honda Odyssey that rev bounces when accelerating, I saw on a forum that you should flush the transmission fluid, should I do that or just change it like Scotty said in his Sienna transmission fluid video? The Odyssey is also right at 48k miles, we are the 1st owner. I also have a 2007 Jeep compass with the Cvt, it's at 114 thousand miles, and I am the 3rd (or more) owner, should I change the fluid or leave it be until the transmission goes. Thanks!
Change the fluid and filter as per the maintenance schedule for that particular vehicle. Do not flush.
Thank you!
What should I do about the rev bouncing?
You need to run a scan to see what codes it throws for direction. They are free from most chain auto supply stores, AutoZone, Advance, et.
A direction code, live data, or something else, and for what reason? Rev bouncing or just if the fluid needs to be changed? Also, can it be a consumer spec scanner? Like a Fixd scanner, a regular corded scanner, or similar?
