Transmission Fluid drain and fill question for 2022 Honda Civic Si Sedan Manual Transmission.

Hi Scotty,

I bought new in October last year a 2022 Honda Civic Si Sedan with a 6 speed manual transmission. I contacted an online Honda Parts Department to inquire on transmission fluid and washers to replace for drain and fill of the transmission. I was advised of only 1 drain washer. Washer Sealing (6MM) - Honda (90442-R7G-000) I asked what is the other washer for fill? You will need to talk to a tech. It was implied that there was only 1 washer. I did some searching on the Internet and YouTube to see if there is any videos, nothing as of yet for 11th Generation Honda Manual Transmission. I checked my owners manual and not totally to my surprise for both the CVT and manual transmission "Have a dealer check the fluid level and replace if necessary. Do not attempt to check or change the manual transmission fluid yourself." It is possible that the drain and fill port is a single hole / bolt location?

Thanks in advance,

Aaron

You shouldn't need to change manual transmission oil after half a year.

Just buy two washers.

Hi MountainManJoe yes correct I understand no need to change transmission fluid yet. I was looking for more specific information on changing on a 11th Gen. Honda Civic with a manual transmission and if there is a drain / fill bolt (2) or only (1).

Thanks,

Aaron

Then look at it. It's probably just like the one in this video.
